The feed comes from Apple’s public podcast directory, which holds the address each show submitted when it listed there. We do not guess a feed or read one off a web page, so a show that is not on Apple will not appear: its hosting dashboard has its feed.
Where podcast feeds are hosted
We read the feed address of every show in our directory and named its host from the address’s domain. Across 404 shows, Megaphone, Libsyn and Anchor (Spotify) serve 43% of the feeds between them.

The domain says where podcast apps fetch the feed. It is not a claim about who built the show’s feed or what the show pays.

Frequently asked questions
How do I find a podcast's RSS feed?+
Type the show's name or paste its Apple Podcasts link into the finder above. It asks Apple's public podcast directory for the feed address the show registered and prints it with a copy button. If several listings share the name, check the author: re-uploads and clip channels register feeds of their own.
How do I find my own podcast's RSS feed?+
If your show is on Apple Podcasts, search its name here: Apple holds the same feed address you submitted. Otherwise open your hosting platform's dashboard: hosts show the feed address in the show's settings or distribution section, because it is the address you give to directories.
Does Spotify give you an RSS feed?+
Spotify does not publish an RSS feed for the shows it lists, so a Spotify link has no feed to find. Shows hosted on Spotify's own platform (the anchor.fm addresses) do have a public feed, and if the show is also on Apple, searching its name here finds it.
What can I do with a podcast's RSS feed?+
Paste it into any podcast app to subscribe, into a directory to list the show, or into our guest readiness check to see what a guest researching the show reads in it: whether it books guests, whether it is still publishing, and whether there is a way to reach the host.
Which host is my podcast's feed on?+
The domain of the feed address says where it is served from: feeds.megaphone.fm is Megaphone, rss.libsyn.com is Libsyn, anchor.fm is Spotify's hosting. The finder names 21 hosts that way. A feed on the show's own domain or a network's server is named as that, not guessed.
Is the RSS feed finder free, and is anything stored?+
It is free with no sign-up. The name you type is sent to our server and on to Apple's public lookup to be answered; neither stores it, and nothing you search is saved to an account.
