Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Let's Make A Podcast collects, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.
Last updated: July 3, 2026
Let's Make A Podcast (“we,” “us,” or “the Service”) is a marketplace that helps podcast hosts and guests find each other. The Service is operated by BLRB Digital. This Privacy Policy applies to letsmakeapodcast.com and the related product surfaces. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need to run the marketplace.
Information you provide
- Account details — your name, email address, and the role you choose (host, guest, or both). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and basic profile from Google; we never receive your Google password.
- Profile content — the information you add to your public profile: your bio, expertise and topic tags, a headshot or avatar image, and (for hosts) your show’s title, description, cover art, topics, audience size, RSS feed URL, and whether you’re open to guests.
- Marketplace activity — the pitches, invitations, and messages you send other members, and booking and scheduling details you create.
- Waitlist and interest signups — if you join a waitlist or express interest in a paid plan, we store your email and which plan you asked about.
- Safety reports — if you report another member, we keep the report and any details you include so our team can review it.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage and device data — pages viewed, actions taken (such as signing up, onboarding, pitching, or messaging), approximate location derived from your IP address, browser type, and device information.
- Cookies and similar technologies — we use a small number of cookies and local storage: strictly necessary ones that keep you signed in and remember your active role, and analytics identifiers used to understand how the Service is used. See Cookies below.
How we use your information
- Operate the marketplace — matching, discovery, pitching, messaging, and scheduling.
- Send you transactional email you’d expect — for example, a notification when someone pitches your show or books a recording, confirmations, and calendar invites. These come from an @letsmakeapodcast.com address.
- Keep the Service safe — detect and prevent spam, abuse, and fraud, and enforce our Terms.
- Understand and improve the product using aggregate analytics.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
We rely on your consent (for optional product email), performance of our agreement with you (to provide the Service), and our legitimate interests (to keep the Service secure and to improve it) as our legal bases for processing where those concepts apply to you.
What other members can see
Let's Make A Podcast is a marketplace, so parts of your profile are meant to be seen. Your profile content — name, role, bio, expertise or topics, headshot or cover art, and (for hosts) your show details — is visible to other signed-in members. If you set your profile to be available or your show to be open to guests, that profile can also appear on public, search-engine-indexable pages of the Service. You control this: turning off availability or closing your show to guests removes it from those public surfaces. Messages you send are visible to the member you send them to.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited ways:
- With other members, as described in “What other members can see” above.
- With service providers that run the Service on our behalf, under agreements that limit their use of your data:
- Google Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication and our database.
- Vercel (Vercel Inc.) — website hosting, image storage, and privacy-friendly web analytics.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — product usage analytics.
- Resend — delivery of our transactional email.
- For legal reasons — if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our members, the public, or BLRB Digital.
- In a business transfer — if the Service is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that deal.
If we introduce paid plans in the future, payments will be handled by a dedicated payment processor and covered by an updated version of this policy. We do not process payments today.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, and analytics cookies to measure how the Service is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; strictly necessary cookies are required for the Service to work. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, which removes your profile and account data. We may retain limited records — such as safety reports or information we must keep to comply with the law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements — for as long as reasonably necessary.
Security
We use reputable infrastructure (Google Firebase and Vercel) and reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls that keep member accounts and private messages limited to the people involved. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:
- Access a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information — most profile fields you can edit directly in the app.
- Delete your account and associated data from your settings.
- Port your information to another service.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent for optional email.
To exercise a right that isn’t available directly in the app, email us at hello@letsmakeapodcast.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. We won’t discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights, as described above.
EEA/UK residents (GDPR)
BLRB Digital is the data controller for your information. You have the rights listed above and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Your information is processed in the United States by us and our service providers.

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to use Let's Make A Podcast. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at hello@letsmakeapodcast.com and we’ll delete it.
