Podcast Guest Invitation Generator
You are asking a busy person for an hour of their time. Fill in a few fields and get an invitation email built on the order that earns a reply: why them, what the episode is, and what it actually costs them. Free, no sign-up, nothing stored.
Name the actual thing they wrote, built, or said. This one line is the whole difference between an invitation and a mail merge.
A good guest says yes because of who is listening, not how many.
Only fill this in if it's a real number you can stand behind. Leave it blank and the invite says nothing about size, which beats a claim a guest can check.
Length, remote or not, and who does the work after. Most invitations are declined on time cost, so answer it before they have to ask.
Written as what a listener gets, not as topics you’d “discuss.” A guest who can picture the episode is far likelier to say yes.

Guest invite: [Show Name]
Hi [their first name], [One line naming the specific thing they wrote, built, or said, and why it stuck with you.] That's exactly the conversation I want to have on [Show Name]. I host [Show Name]. Here's what I think we'd cover: • [What the listener learns from your work] • [The story only you can tell] [How long it takes, whether it's remote, and that you handle the editing and promo.] No prep needed on your end. If you're interested, reply with a couple of windows that suit you and I'll work around them. Thanks, [Your name]

How it works
- 1
Say why them
Name the specific piece of work that prompted the invite. This single line separates an invitation from a mail merge.
- 2
Describe the episode
Add your show, who it is for, and two or three things the episode would cover, each framed as what a listener walks away with.
- 3
Clear the time objection, then ask
State the recording length, whether it is remote, and who handles editing and promo. Copy the email and send it.

Frequently asked questions
How do you invite someone to be a guest on your podcast?+
Open by naming the specific thing they wrote, built, or said that prompted the invite, so it cannot be mistaken for a mail merge. Say who you are and who the show is for. Sketch two or three things the episode would cover, framed as what a listener gets. Then answer the time question before they have to ask it: how long the recording takes, whether it is remote, and who handles the editing and promo. Close with one easy reply. This generator assembles exactly that order.
Is this podcast guest invitation generator free?+
Yes, completely free with no sign-up. It runs entirely in your browser: nothing you type is sent to a server or stored anywhere. Fill in the fields, copy the email, and personalize it before you send.
Why do podcast guest invitations get ignored?+
Three reasons, in order. The invite is obviously templated, so the recipient assumes fifty other people got it. It never says what the episode is actually about, so saying yes means signing up for an unknown. Or it hides the time cost, so the safest answer is no. A good invitation removes all three before it asks for anything.
Should I put my download numbers in the invitation?+
Only if the number is real and you are comfortable being asked about it. A guest can usually estimate a show's size from its chart position and review count, so an inflated claim is a fast way to lose credibility. If your show is small, leave the number out and lead with who listens instead: a focused audience of the right people is a genuinely better pitch than a big vague one. This tool never adds a reach claim you did not type.
How long should a podcast guest invitation be?+
Short enough to read on a phone without scrolling twice, which in practice is about 150 words. The invitation only has to earn a reply, not close the booking, so keep the detail for the follow-up.
Is there a way to get guests without emailing them one at a time?+
Yes. Add your show to Let's Make A Podcast and you get a public show page that takes guest pitches, so people can approach you as well. Outbound invitations still work best for a specific person you want, but they should not be your only channel.
